If IRQ 3 or 5 causes conflicts with equipment, you may run the SR-9/SM911 with the Interrupts disabled.
The SR-9/SM911 does not contain a Low Level Format routine in it's BIOS. It requires the use of a separate LLF program. Disk Maestro, by Future Domain, is usually shipped with this controller. (The SR-9/SM911 utilizes a Future Domain SCSI interface IC. and a "generic" FD SCSI BIOS)
This SCSI Host Adapter started life as the Tega Technologies SM911, and was later renamed SR-9 when the Company changed it's name to Storage Research. Original Tega controllers had the model number "144N44" on them, but I've never seen the card advertised under that model number.
The Floppy drive controller will NOT support dual-speed drives.
The External SCSI Connector uses the early Future Domain pinout, NOT the more common Apple type pinout.
