  • The TMC-1600 series of SCSI Host Adapters does not contain a BIOS resident Low Level Format routine. The TMC-1600 series supports 7 SCSI drives under DOS 5.0 and above without additional drivers. For Windows, PowerSCSI should be used. For OS/2, the drivers are included in the OS, and have additional switch settings...

  • /FS Fast Synchronous Mode. OS/2 automatically disables FS mode when it finds an SCSI HA using the TMC-1800 SBIC. Adding this switch re-enables it.
  • /!FS Disables Fast Synchronous Mode (for use where the driver becomes confused.)
  • /ET:t Enables Embedded Target support for peripherals that use more than one Logical Unit Number (LU

N). [t = the SCSI ID of the peripheral.]
