    The 34F has an internal Utility program for Low Level Formatting, Disk Analysis, and Defect Management, accessed through the Debug command. (g=xxxx:5, where xxxx is the address of the BIOS)
    Switches

    DOS (USPI14.SYS):

  • /F Displays peripherals attached, and system resources used by the 34F.
  • /L Enables use of Lugical Unit Numbers (LUNs). [For multiple target peripherals, ie: CDRom Disk changers.]
  • /Xiii Excludes scanning of certain I/O addresses. (/X130, /X230, etc.)
  • OS/2 2.0 & Up (ULTRA14.ADD):

  • /A:x ID's the Adapter (ie: /A:0, or /A:1) in multiple adapter setups.
  • /ET Extended Translation allows the use of Logical Unit Numbers (LUNs). [For multiple target peripherals, ie: CDRom Disk changers.]
  • /!DM:d1,d2 DisablesDASD Manager support for devices d1, d2, etc.
  • /!SM:d1,d2 Disables SCSI Manager support for devices d1, d2, etc.
