  • F001: Supports 2 Drives, No J2, J3, or BIOS.
  • F002: Supports 4 Drives (2-internal, 2-external), J2, J3, No BIOS.
  • F003: Supports 2 Drives, No J2, J3, or BIOS.
  • F004: Supports 4 Drives (2-internal, 2-external), J2, J3, & BIOS.

  • Support for Floppy drives above 360KB in PC & XT type computers requires the FOX BIOS (P/N: 62-000105-001). This Controller requires "Intelligent" type 1.44MB floppy drives. This type does not depend on the state of Pin #2, but determine drive type and data rate from the drive's media. Also, this Controller should not be placed in Slot J8 of an IBM PC/XT system due to the slot's modified timing & select characteristics.
