  • W1(7/8) addresses a disparity between the MMx and WA2/WAH controller series concerning heads #8-15. When replacing a WA2/WAH series with an MMx series on drives with over 8 physical heads, a jumper is required to maintain compatibility.

    There is no Low Level Formatter routine contained on this card. A third party LLF program is required.

    Do NOT mix single and dual speed floppy drives on the same controller.
