    A Low Level Format can be accomplished using a routine contained in the BIOS of the WD1006V. To access the LLF routine, use the DOS Debug command, and type: g=cc00:5 <enter>.

    It is recommended that a Low Level Format be accomplished when changing from a WD1003 type controller to the WD1006V type controller.
